Our mission to create the safest and most reliable taxi company in the world extends beyond giving our customers the best service possible. We want to be a force for good in the lives of our customers, in the communities we serve, and in the wider world.

We’re on a journey to operate in the most environmentally conscious way we can – and we’re proud of the progress we’ve already made.

Our fleet

Each of our vehicles is carefully selected to be as fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly as possible, with our current upgrade programme adding even more sustainable vehicles into our fleet. All of our vehicles meet ULEZ requirements, keeping the air in our communities clean as we take customers from A to B.

Our training and monitoring

All Techxi drivers are given specific training on how to drive in a fuel-efficient, environmentally conscious and safe manner. This means less impact on the environment every time a customer steps into one of our cars.

Additionally, we use smart AI technology to monitor the driving of each of our drivers, proactively highlighting areas of improvement on a daily basis. This means that our high standards are followed consistently, with coaching offered where areas of improvement are highlighted. This includes route efficiency, harsh acceleration and breaking and engine idling.

Our carbon reduction plan

Our carbon offset plan is published online and is fully accessible to everybody. This shows our commitment to lead with action as we further reduce our carbon footprint.

Our communities

Techxi’s ambition to do good doesn’t stop at protecting the planet. We routinely support local organisations, sports clubs, charities and other worthy causes, enabling community groups to reach even further into the towns and cities we’re proud to serve.
