About our academy
Starting or changing career can seem like a daunting prospect. Techxi are here to support and guide you through the entire process of becoming a fully-qualified taxi driver.
Here’s what we will provide you with:
1. Full Training
You will attend a course local to you, hosted by a qualified trainer. The course will last one day.
2. DBS and Licence Checks
Due to the nature of our work, all drivers will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check and DVLA checks.
3. Fit to Drive Medical
We will arrange a fit to drive medical for you, with a qualified practitioner at a venue local to you.
4. Qualification
We will arrange for your 3-year private hire licence once all checks and medicals are completed.
5. Fully-Insured Vehicle
We can provide you with a fully-insured vehicle, ready to begin your private hire journey in safety and comfort.
6. Regular Hours and Ongoing Support
We are here to provide ongoing support as you get started on this rewarding new career path.
